Angel Kate and Ballroom Dancer both showed plenty of promise last time and should fight this one out, with preference for Henry Cecil's filly, while Labor Day and Jacaranda Ridge can both gain further valuable experience. The selection was just collared close home over a mile at Nottingham last time, when the front three finished clear of the rest, and with improvement anticipated she looks good enough to go one better. Ballroom Dancer looks the chief threat. Jeremy Noseda has his runners in good nick and the filly was not disgraced at Kempton last time. She is stepped up in trip here and probably needs that, so a big run is anticipated. Labor Day showed improved from her first run but will need to find a fair bit more to really compete here and a place may be her best hope, and the same goes for Jacaranda Ridge, who should improve with age and has Jamie Spencer booked. Preference here for us though is Angel Kate.
