Spring Goddess is a consistent sort and can be rewarded with another win here, while Grizedale looks the danger and both Bee Stinger and China Cherub is others for the short list. Spring Goddess has been in the frame on each of her last three starts and is suited by both 7f and a mile on fast ground. Her mark is a fair one based on recent performances and as this is not as competitive as some of those runs she can prosper now. Grizedale was a winner last time at Newmarket and has gone up 5lb as a result. Trip and ground again suit and he also has a c&d win under his belt so is very much respected. Bee Stinger showed a return to form over a mile here last time and is effective at 7f, and off the same mark he can go well, while China Cherub is tried again over 7f, though thus far staying this far has proved beyond Richard Hannon's charge and we need positive evidence of that before taking the plunge. The one for us here is Spring Goddess.
