PETER ISLAND may prove hard to peg back and he is preferred to fellow recent winners Dazed And Amazed and Rash Judgement. Winning form at the track is often a bonus at Goodwood, and the selection has proven that he handles the undulations here by winning here last September. His win a week ago came off a mark of 79 so he needs to improve to defy this 7lb loftier perch but his win at Leicester was comprehensive and he looks an uncomplicated character who has plenty of speed. Choreography and old-timer Idle Power need watching in the betting on their return to racing, whilst Billion Dollar Kid was very promising for Richard Hannon and he beat the selection last season at Brighton. Harbour Blues and Digital come here fit after some recent outings, but the latter always gets badly detached before flying home, and a bigger threat may be Rash Judgement who holds Aye Aye Digby on their run at Folkestone. Dazed And Amazed must be considered under just a 2lb rise for his recent Bath win, but for the winner we will plump for Peter Island.
