Verdict

Julia Feilden has plenty of runners with claims on the card including her representative here Bavarica but the seven-year-old will be hard pushed to get the better of DANCING JEST, who gets the verdict ahead of Lunar River. David Pinder's mare has run well in her last two starts but a 4lb rise since the latest of those efforts seems a shade harsh so she may have to settle for minor honours again. Rosy Dawn has been well held in recent starts on turf and looks best watched, while Make Amends has struggled in handicaps since landing her maiden last season. Encore Belle has yet to win a race and probably needs some help from the handicapper anyway and a safer option looks to be Dancing Jest. Rae Guest's mare comes into this in better form than most of her rivals and a reproduction of recent form should suffice in a race that should not take a great deal of winning.
