BRIDGE VALLEY was a beaten favourite when last seen, put is put forward to score here ahead of Many A Slip and Agony And Ecstasy. The selection is a half-brother to the useful Go Nani Go, and had shown promise on his debut. He was sent off as favourite last time but was outpaced at around halfway and could never get back into contention. He remains a handy looking sort at this level and should be able to take this modest maiden. John Dunlop's Many A Slip was picked up for just 2,500gns as a yearling, despite being from a very good family. He looked weak when last in a 6f Salisbury maiden on debut but showed plenty of promise at Windsor last time, staying on strongly after finding some trouble in running. His runner up spot there was a massively improved effort, but similar is to be expected today. Agony And Ecstasy put in a decent debut effort last time and any natural improvement should see the filly make the frame. Mark Johnston tends to do well with his two-year-olds so any market movement for debutant Caracal could make him interesting but for us Bridge Valley looks best.
