Sakile showed some promise on her Pontefract debut but Peter Chapple-Hyam's filly will need to step up considerably on that effort to get the better of TOMINTOUL SINGER, who gets the vote with Starburst Excel rated the best of the rest. The selection has found one too good in each of her two starts so far, in a Leicester maiden and an auction event at Yarmouth. Henry Cecil's filly did not seemingly get the six furlongs on the latter occasion when 2/9 favourite and should appreciate the drop back to the minimum trip. Luca Cumani's Titoli Di Coda is an interesting newcomer being a speedily bred daughter of Bertolini and she makes more appeal first time out than the Stuart Williams-trained Graceandgratitude. Eve Johnson Houghton's Yurituni ran promisingly on her debut at Windsor and has to be respected but a bigger threat is likely to come from Starburst Excel. Mick Quinlan's filly ran well on her debut in a Newmarket maiden prior to not being disgraced in a decent novice stakes race at York when last seen in May. She has every chance back in a maiden today but preference is for Tomintoul Singer, who can gain compensation for her defeat at Yarmouth last time.
