PENANG CINTA is our pick in the opener with Expensive Problem and Run For Ede's on the shortlist. David Evans has gone on record as suggesting that Penang Cinta can be something of a character but the gelding does seem to show his form around esoteric tracks and the Brighton specialist could translate it to here. Expensive Problem had been difficult to win with when trained by Ralph Beckett. The Spanish climate must have reawakened enthusiasm for the task as there was no fluke about the recent victory at Windsor. Run For Ede's is one of two for Pat Phelan. The mare is better known as a miler although there was support for her over this trip at Lingfield last time out. Constant Cheers recent run at Kempton can be safely ignored as he is much better on turf. He appears to get on particularly well for tonight's rider. Willie Muir's team are in good heart at present so watch the market for any clues as to Shesha Bear's chances. Jo'burg has dropped down the weights but can be a little frustrating. Dancer's Legacy returns following absence. A modest opener that can go the way of Penang Cinta.
