Astonishment should come on again here and Dream Spinner also looks a decent sort after an impressive debut last time but we side with DUPLICITY. It should be a very competitive maiden though with the likes of Mingun Bell and Al Khimya also having claims. The Richard Hannon trained selection clearly has talent and it didn't take long for the penny to drop last time. He failed to make the minors there but he stayed on well and should pay his way in this company. Astonishment was always outpaced when well beaten at Windsor on debut, but is bred to appreciate this extra furlong and he improved markedly on that initial effort at Folkestone at the end of last month. He should come on again and another improved effort is to be expected. John Dunlop's Dream Spinner whose pedigree is a mixture of speed and stamina, chased the winner for most of the way last time out and despite failing to make the minors looked a decent sort and any improvement should see him do well. Mingul Bell has set a decent standard on debut and another decent effort at Leicester followed, the colt should again do well. The same can be said of Al Khimiya who looks much improved recently and the appointment of Jamie Spencer should prove significant. This should be a competitive maiden, where we like the look of Duplicity.
