In this handicap for three-year-olds, Bronwen looks the one to beat, with her biggest dangers reckoned to be Busaco and, possibly Liberty Run and Young Mick. Following a decisive win at Beverley over today's trip, Bronwen, who is set to rise by five pounds in future ratings, holds solid claims in attempting to follow up that win. Busaco has not quite built on the promise that he showed at Goodwood in May in two runs since that effort, but he must surely be competitive in this event. Liberty Run's Turf efforts have yet to match his all-weather ones, and Tavalu has a bit to prove based on what he has so far shown. Sugitani might improve for a further step up in trip and Krasivi's Boy has shown some promise, but others look stronger. Finally, Young Mick might appreciate the step up in trip today, and will appreciate the drop in class, so his chance cannot be dismissed. This, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Bronwen.
