From a shortlist of Powder Blue, Royal Wish and Danger Zone for this maiden, we give a solid vote to Powder Blue. The Saeed Bin Suroor-trained selection showed promise on her debut when fourth to Gallantry at Warwick. Ok, that was hardly an earth-shattering display, but this is not a strong race and she really ought to be very competitive today. In a run-of -the-mill contest, Danger Zone must be given a chance, even though his first-time visored placing last time only rates in the mid-60s. Actuality improved from his debut to run reasonably well at Goodwood last time and can be expected to improve again, although he needs to settle better than he did in Sussex. Hill Of Clare was unplaced in a Leopardstown maiden on his debut, so the betting should be watched with regard to him, but the others have shown little thus far, but you would hope that Royal Wish is better than he has so far shown, and bear in mind that this is not a strong event. That said, Powder Blue seems to have been found a decent winning opportunity and is taken to score.
