From a shortlist for this race of Ahmedy, Captain Bolsh, Cloud Atlas, Just Observing, Under My Thumb and Heaven Can Wait, we will side with the last-named. Having made late headway when fifth at Newmarket on her racecourse debut, the step up in trip should suit Heaven Can Wait today, and she looks set to run a competitive race. From the Mick Channon yard, Ahmedy commands respect on his debut, and Captain Bolsh has shown enough in three starts to suggest that a good show is not a forlorn hope. Cloud Atlas is interesting in that he cost 21,000 guineas, and Just Observing has shown promise on each start to date, one on Turf and one on the all-weather. Under My Thumb was a fair second to Confidential Lady last time, so there's another contender, but, a stable companion of Confidential Lady, Captivate, has shown little to date, although ignore her Epsom run as she was all at sea on the gradients. Finally, Flying Penne steps up two furlongs from her debut, but, as stated, our narrow vote goes to Heaven Can Wait.
