Damburger Xpress showed improved form at Redcar last week and is set to go up 2lbs in future handicaps but is far from certain to handle today's slower ground so preference is for Daring Affair, who gets the vote ahead of Sunshine On Me. The last mentioned has been in good form of late and may well still be ahead of the handicapper but the softer ground is of concern, as it is for Dispol Foxtrot, so a watching brief is probably best advised. El Chaparral may be better on the all-weather, while Dium Mac has more to do than when scoring at Redcar last week. Turtle Patriarch has claims on form, including on this surface, but lacks a recent run while Santando is difficult to win with. The vote then goes to Daring Affair, who remains feasibly well treated, will relish the conditions and has the assistance of the very capable Hayley Turner.
