Time to get the pin out here and Gallery Girl is the tentative selection ahead of Sunrise Safari, Peter Island, Golden Dixie and Gift Horse. The form of the selection has reflected that of her yard so far this season, consistently good. A 5f winner at Ayr in June, she went close in a better class race than this next time before being thrashed there last time. This is more her level, she has a good pitch from stall 17, and she might just be good enough from this mark. Sunrise Safari beat the inform Elkhorn at Newcastle last time but is up 5lb here and that rival was hammered next time, so perhaps the form is not as solid as it looked. Peter Island scored at Brighton over 6f, his optimum trip and should go well with a penalty to lump around, while Golden Dixie is another specialist at this trip and handles any ground with 'good' in the description, so can go very well though is perhaps weighted to the hilt. Gift Horse is very interesting back at 3lb below his last winning mark over he trip he relishes and with headgear for the first time. His chance is very much respected but Gallery Girl gets the nod from us.
