A wide open contest to kick off proceedings and Quotation is taken to land it for Sir Michael Stoute, with Marwah and Double On Red obvious dangers, while there are other newcomers to consider. Debutante Quotation is from a yard going well with its juveniles and whose runners are generally in decent form. She is related to a number of juvenile winners at trips between 6f and a mile, and as her sire Medicean won on both fast and soft ground she should not mind whatever conditions are thrown up so she can score. Marwah was third in a Newmarket maiden on debut and with improvement to come she can go close, though that pipe opener was not strong. Double On Red tackled a better race at Ascot and was not disgraced, so with an upward curve likely we should watch the market. The same can be said of Lady Jane Digby, who is related to juvenile winners and hails from the Mark Johnston yard, whose two-year-olds are going well. Deira Dubai is not ruled out, though will probably be better next year, while the same goes for Red Lily, and preference is for Quotation.
