Nezami showed improved form on his debut effort when chasing home Al Muheer at Lingfield earlier this month and Brian Meehan's gelding looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to go one better here, getting the vote ahead of Redesignation and Alcimedes. The last mentioned showed only a modicum of ability on his debut but should have learned from that effort and is bred to be useful. Ablaan is an interesting newcomer but is probably best watched on his debut, while the market is likely to give an indication as to the chances of James Fanshawe's Long Distance. John Dunlop's two-year-olds normally improve with racing and his representative Mon Plaisir is likely to learn from this debut effort. Richard Hannon's Redesignation showed signs of ability first time out and has to be respected but Nezami has solid claims and is hard to oppose.
