Inside Story did not mind the drop back to a mile when landing a Haydock handicap last time, is set to go up 2lbs in future weights so can take this under a penalty and gets the vote ahead of Trivia and Sonny Parkin. The last mentioned has run creditably of late but has been finding at least one too good and probably needs some help from the handicapper so looks best watched. Piper's Song is less exposed than most but is another that may be a shade high in the weights at present, while Rain Stops Play has slipped to a fair mark but is inconsistent. Paul Cole's Genari has slipped to a winning mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late and a bigger threat looks to be Trivia, who is progressing with racing but may be a shade high in the weights for his debut in a handicap. Inside Story has solid claims on recent form and he is taken to win again.
