    Verdict

This conditions race looks at the mercy of TAJAARUB who can get the better of Gomrath and Mister Angry. Barry Hills' charge did well to score on debut, in the processing beating Atlantic Tiger who has gone in since. He cost 60,000 guineas and is bred to be a decent middle distance performer which certainly looked the case as he powered clear at Lingfield, when expected to come on for the run. This track might not be ideal for him but the colt should still take the world of beating, especially as this step up in distance will help him. Gomrath Ran reasonably on his debut as a juvenile but left that form well behind when scoring at Lingfield last time. Again, he should improve for stepping up in trip and he's the one our selection has to fear having despatched an 82-rated rival last time. That form has been let down by the runner up though and he may have to settle for second. Mister Angry won a similar race on his final start as a juvenile and has excellent claims on the official ratings. However, it's debatable whether he's quite up to his mark of 85 having disappointed in nurseries previously and he'll do well to take this on his return. Tallawalla is exposed as modest and shouldn't be winning this, although he won't be last as that honour will surely go to the 10-rated Tantsor. There are three horses here set to fight out the finish, with Tajaarub taken to win the battle.
