This will take little winning so a chance is taken on KANACE ahead of Alphacino, Blue Avon and Firetrap. Our selection has beaten only one rival home on each of his starts at Wolverhampton and makes his seasonal debut here. However, he's a half-brother to 73-rated Medici Time and if there is any ability there his trainer is more than capable of finding it and indeed the market will be our biggest clue as to expectations. He's selected nonetheless, largely due to a lack of strength amongst his opponents. Alphacino hasn't improved for leaving Mick Channon and his sole success as a juvenile came in a claimer, albeit at this trip. He should do slightly better now returned to turf but still can't be backed with a great deal of confidence. Blue Avon has to be considered for the red-hot Richard Fahey operation, especially as she was always going to struggle over the minimum last time. She's only shown one bit of promise but again she's in the right hands to progress. Firetrap is another with claims of sorts now he drops down to a more suitable trip. His best effort came here when placed off 62 so this mark of 58 gives hope to followers. Sixties Rock is dropping down the ratings but that's because he's not threatened to win of late, so of more interest at each-way prices is Rescent who wasn't beaten all that far last time. The visor tried on Infinity World may bring about improvement but it'll need to and we'll give our vote instead to Kanace.
