        Verdict

        Upswing, Dalriath and Silver Dagger are the three for the shortlist here and preference is for Upswing to make it two on the bounce. Dalriath won at Fakenham and was a close second of a seven pound higher mark at Market Rasen last time. She is in good heart at the moment and looks sure to go well. After some disappointing efforts, Silver Dagger returned from a lay off to score at Market Rasen last time. He saddles a seven pound penalty here and it may be best waiting to see if Silver Dagger is capable of reproducing that improved effort. Richard Guest's Upswing had shown ability on a couple of occasions before springing a minor surprise at Wetherby last time and only had to be pushed out to score. That win will have been a confidence booster, and is taken to defy an eight pound rise up the weights to score again. Upswing can lead them home.
