Red Man, Ball Games and Pearson Glen are the three to consider here and Red Man is taken to come out on top. After a five month lay off, Pearson Glen was given a pipe opener on the all weather before belying a big starting price when running well at Wetherby. That was a good effort and he can be expected to go close. Ball Games is another who appears to have benefitted from a rest. He was all the better for his first run for four months when finishing third at Hexham last time, and he can fight for a place. Red Man has won two of his last four starts. They were both over fences but his last outing over hurdles saw him finish second at Catterick. He runs off a one pound lower mark here and looks to be on a winning mark.
