The unexposed ROBBIE BURNETT can land this from Frontline Phantom and Diamondgeezer Luke. Alan Swinbank's charge defied market weakness to make a winning handicap debut at Hamilton, showing a likeable attitude to squeeze through a tight gap late on before powering clear. The concern here has to be this drop in distance rather than a 5lb rise as there doesn't appear to be anything lurking in the opposition, so we'll hope for a positive ride in siding with the top-weight. Frontline Phantom is a pound lower than when showing some promise last time and this stiffer test looks sure to suit so he's one to consider despite not having won a race as yet. Similar comments apply to 13-race maiden Diamondgeezer Luke, whose Irish form certainly reads well in the context of this. He ran his best race for some time when fourth at Haydock and also looks sure to be suited by the greater emphasis on stamina. Leaving Alone started life in handicaps off a stiff mark but should begin to get competitive soon, especially with this drop in trip likely to help her perform to her best; it has to be said though her best efforts to date have come on artificial surfaces. Franki J and Footsie are both unexposed with Andrea Atzeni's mount making most appeal as conditions would appear to suit her, but Robbie Burnett will be tough to beat in the closer and is nominated accordingly.
