A strong race for the grade with no fewer than six horses rated 70 or better; pick of them is SUNNYSIDE TOM over Moody Tunes and Just Five. The three horses mentioned are weighted to finish in a line so separating them is hard, however Sunnyside Tom's recent course and distance second in a strong handicap swings the vote in his favour. The gelding's form figures in this grade read 2-2-1 and with Richard Fahey continuing in fine form he's the most solid betting proposition here. Moody Tunes is a dual course and distance winner who ran a fine race back in handicap company last time too. John Weymes saddled a winner on Friday to advertise the wellbeing of the yard and he must be respected, especially if able to dictate matters. Just Five has won at Beverley to suggest he'll enjoy this test and he's respected on the figures but Michael Dods is struggling for winners so we're prepared to overlook his charge. Observatory Star debuts in the grade and, while having a few pounds to find, he does look up to his current rating of 73. Last time he raced here Tim Easterby's charge stayed on well to advertise he's no problems getting home and he has to be considered along with Kashimin, who tries cheek-pieces for the first time and should improve upon his seasonal return. Ansells Pride has his conditions but will do well to concede weight all-round while Plush is a much better performer on artificial surfaces, so we'll return to Sunnyside Tom.
