With the yard's form a concern Patch Patch is overlooked in favour of JACK LUEY, while at a potentially big price Dancing Freddy is interesting and Reach For The Sky can't be ruled out. Our pick finished behind Kevin Ryan's bang in-form filly Perfect Blossom last time and is perhaps fortunate to race off the same mark today. The stiff finish will suit and providing he can lay up early compensation may await with ground conditions to suit. Patch Patch is only a couple of pounds higher than when winning at Ayr three starts back and has acquitted himself well since, but Michael Dods really is struggling for winners; it's almost a month since his last. Dancing Freddy is down to a career low mark and tries blinkers for the first time so keep an eye on the market with this drop in trip also in the horse's favour. Reach For The Sky would come right in to this if rain arrived but again his trainer hasn't had a winner in some time and that does temper enthusiasm somewhat, despite his decent second at Ayr. Tabiet caused a 50/1 surprise at Doncaster but there were a couple of fair yardsticks in behind to suggest there was nothing fortunate about it and from an opening mark of 63 she's not ignored along with Captain Bluebird, who is racing off the same mark as when beaten by a very narrow margin over this distance two starts back. Yet again this is considered a tough race to call but Jack Luey has solid enough claims.
