Mexican Jay isn't without claims but Alan Swinbank's FOURTH GENERATION really should be up to landing this; Mister Fantastic has a degree of ability and that should be enough for him to finish amongst the first few home. In his three runs to date our selection has shown a level of form that fully entitles him to his rating of 78, one that sets a clear standard here. His first run of the year at Wolverhampton was a strong one and as a son of Derby winner Kris Kin he can surely only improve for stepping up in trip. Mexican Jay is well regarded but her 423-day absence has to be a concern. She did cost a packet so it's little surprise connections are keen to persevere with her and the market will guide us in relation to her chance. Mister Fantastic has work to do as a 64-rated sort who isn't certain to stay but such is the lack of strength in this field that he has to be factored in to calculations. Opening Nite and Tobernea both represent top yards and shouldn't be ruled out, particularly the latter whose half-brother Act Of Kalanisi won on his second start for this yard having not shown much on debut. Perhaps Opening Nite will improve for this better ground but in truth he'll have to and this weak race can go to Fourth Generation.
