Verdict

Celestial Princess has been knocking on the door, and can now pay to support ahead of Unique Moment, Night Club and newcomer Creative Mind. Mick Channon sends Celestial Princess on the trek up to Carlisle with leading claims, and the filly should prove the answer here on the evidence so far. The daughter of Observatory has found one too good at both Beverley and Newbury on her last two starts, but has shaped well, and with a decent gallop, can come out on top ahead of Unique Moment. Mark Johnston's filly has nearly seven lengths to make up on Beverley running, but still looked green then and can close the gap without being good enough to turn the tables. Having cost connections 70,000gns, Night Club was disappointing on her Doncaster debut, finishing last of nine, but like the selection, holds an entry in the Watership Down Stud Sales Race this autumn, so is surely better than that. Creative Mind comes from a stable that is doing really well with it's juveniles, so could be anything, but a low draw will not help, and on this occasion it is Celestial Princess that is the one to beat.
