Verdict
Dual Thirsk claiming winner One Trick Pony may struggle to concede weight away all round and preference is for Imperial Lucky, who gets the vote ahead of Howards Call. The last mentioned ran promisingly in this grade on his debut and again in a maiden on soft ground on his next start and has to be respected dropping back into a seller today. Howard Johnson's Jay Jay Rocket is difficult to evaluate after just one start in a maiden and could be interesting in a moderate race along with Dispol Valentine. A market move for David Barron's Horsefair Dancer would have to be noted, while Martharum has run with credit in this grade before and is entitled to be thereabouts again. The vote though goes to Mark Wallace's Imperial Lucky, who suggested last time at Yarmouth that a race of this nature would be within her compass and has the assistance of Jamie Spencer.
