Screenplay gets a narrow vote over Didn'y You Know, with Hatch A Plan and Idle Journey just two others to consider. Screenplay shaped well when third to Darrias on his debut over hurdles just over three weeks ago, and as that track would really have been too sharp for him, Sheena West's charge should have plenty in his favour here. A winning stayer on the Flat, the only question mark would be if the ground dried up, but apart from that he has leading claims. Didn't You Know is well-bred, being a half-sister to the useful Bounce Back, but needs more experience at racing judged on her second racecourse appearance at Uttoxeter where she hung all over the place before falling three out. Hatch A Plan was too keen at Sandown in February and has not been out since so is best watched, while Idle Journey has a similar absence to overcome after finishing down the field at Haydock. Lake Merced can improve on what he showed at Uttoxeter last time, and Felix The Fox steps up from claiming company but has course knowledge. The market should be watched regarding the rest, but there will be plenty of support for Screenplay and he is the selection.
