Diamond De Triano, Linton Dancer and Ellesappelle form the short list and we stick with Diamond De Triano. Although the ground has to be a slight concern, the form of Diamond De Triano's recent victory was given a huge boost by the third's proximity to Punjabi in a recent contest at Nottingham. She has only gone up 3lb for the victory and with Peter Chapple-Hyam a rare visitor to these parts, we shall take the hint. Linton Dancer kept on well at Musselburgh on her latest start and is in good heart. There is a suspicion on the formbook that this trip just could stretch her stamina a wee bit so caution is advised. Ellesappelle was a recent odds-on failure in a Redcar claimer although Karl Burke's stable are in considerable form at the moment. Bollin Dolly pulls hard in her races and needs to be settled early. Casablanca Minx ran much better than her recent finishing position at Kempton suggests and it would be no surprise to see her run a big race at the likely odds. An interesting fillies event in which Diamond De Triano is taken to have shown further progression.
