In depth

Verdict

Jeremy Noseda's Simply Perfect is superbly bred and can win first time out, Spoof Master and Ripping may do best of the others. Michael Tabor paid 220 thousand guineas for this daughter of Danehill. The dam was placed in Group one company and so with that sort of pedigree she should be up to landing a race of this nature. Spoof Master has done all of his racing with a bit of cut in the ground. He has shown very decent form and if he handles this faster surface he should be involved in the finish. Richard Hannon invariably does well with his juveniles here and his newcomer Ripping, a well bred daughter of Green Desert, should be watched closely in the betting market. Il Palio and Fairfield Prince are previous winners and may do best of the others, but on this occasion we will take a chance with a debutante and side with Simply Perfect.
