Verdict
A very tricky handicap that may fall to Emily's Place, Orphina and Temperance could be the main dangers. The Mark Tompkins trained filly was kept to six furlongs last season and put in some solid displays, including a good third here in October. She proved she stayed this trip when chasing home Lii Najma at Kempton earlier this month. The third was well beaten off and with improvement likely, she looks the one to be on. Orphina showed her best form on fast ground at Chepstow last season and looks to be returning to form. she needs to prove that she gets this trip but does look on a decent mark. Temperance is another that is steadily improving and a recent fourth behind Luckylover reads pretty well in the context of this race. Endless Night has a squeak on the pick of last season's form and may do best of the others, but Emily's Place has the best recent form on show and just gets the verdict.
