Summer Of Love, Susie May and Snake Skin are the obvious contenders for this race and the winner should come from that trio; Alan King's mare is selected. She ran on well to beat Snake Skin by a couple of lengths over course and distance last time when having her first run on the Flat for Alan King and her first run in this sphere with blinkers. That was her maiden success on the level and she has work to do to confirm the form under her penalty but she did the job well enough and may be able to follow up. Snake Skin has obvious claims on that form whilst Coco L'Escargot and Saraba are worth monitoring in the market for signs of support but Susie May is one with more obvious claims. She won a course and distance claimer for Charlie Cyzer last year and doesn't have too many miles on the clock so may have a little improvement to come. She made a winning debut for Gary Moore at Kempton in April and has to be feared given her trainer's record at this track from just a 6lb higher mark. Preference, though, is for Summer Of Love.
