Trinculo can make the most of his good draw to see off the challenges of Trojan Flight and Malapropism, with Harrison's Flyer, Melalchrist and Henry Hall others who can get involved. Today's feature race has attracted a number of battle-hardened sorts, none in better form at present than Trinculo who has won his last two starts in claimers, at Newcastle and Sandown. Dandy Nicholls' charge made all on both occasions, and with a plumb draw in stall 15 for his return to handicap company, we can expect the eight-year-old to once again crack out and lead from pillar to post. Why he has suddenly come to hand like this is anybody's guess, but connections will be keen to make the most of it before he goes off the boil again. While Trinculo is out in front, the likes of Trojan Flight and Malapropism will be held up off the pace, and we can expect both to come flying through at the death. They will be popular for a place at least, while Melalchrist, a dual course and distance winner here last year, showed signs of a return to form when chasing home his stablemate Zomerlust here 12 days ago. Harrison's Flyer and Orpen Wide have bad draws to overcome, but Salviati showed that his turn is near and is another to consider. However, we shall side with Trinculo to make all and complete the hat-trick.
