Resplendent Glory is a progressive three-year-old and has to be respected but faces a stiff task against older rivals and preference is for Boogie Street, who gets the vote ahead of Celtic Mill. The last mentioned sprung a surprise when landing the Temple Stakes but was well held in the King's Stand Stakes last time and may struggle under his penalty. Bahamian Pirate made a satisfactory reappearance behind the impressive Soldier's Tale at Newcastle last time but would probably prefer a softer surface, while The Tatling disappointed in two starts at the royal meeting and may be best watched at present. Jim Goldie's Orientor has claims on the pick of his form and has every chance of reversing form with Celtic Mill on Temple Stakes form but a bigger threat is likely to come from Resplendent Glory. The Terry Mills-trained colt has not stopped improving but this is his toughest assignment to date and preference is for Boogie Street. Richard Hannon's colt has come back to form this season with a decent when winning at Goodwood on his return and again in defeat when chasing home Chineur in the King's Stand last time. A below par effort in between those two starts at Salisbury is of concern but, on form at the royal meeting, he is the one to beat.
