An tricky start to the card with at Nottingham and it may rest between Piddies Pride and Corniche Dancer, while Orchestration and Elliot's Choice are others to have a look at. The last named has bits and pieces of form that give him claims in this company and he can go well for each-way backers. However, like many of the rest, his going days are very hard to predict and he is not one to be going overboard about. Orchestration also fits that profile and needs everything to drop just right for him. He is capable but is possibly better on the All Weather these days. Corniche Dancer hails from a yard that can do little wrong at the moment and she has to be given serious consideration at this level. She has won off a 26lb higher mark in the past and would breeze this if she could recapture anything like her best. She fared better than her finishing position would suggest when she returned to turf last month and is worth a saver option if the prices permit. However, it would be dangerous not to factor in Piddies Pride, who has held her own in better company this term. And, as she is likely to be available at more attractive odds, Piddies Pride could be good value if Corniche Dancer fails to deliver for any reason.
