EXCELSIOR ACADEMY has shown a decent level of form in maidens on the Polytrack on his last two starts and Brian Meehan's colt gets the verdict in the hope that he can translate that form back on turf today, with the main dangers rated as Blue Dynasty and Security Joan. The last mentioned has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated for being stepped up in trip in his last two starts but it is probably too early to be writing off Richard Hannon's filly so she has to be considered in a weak looking contest. Hassadin ran much better at Great Leighs last time but that was only a claimer and this is tougher, while both Darley Sun and Corredor Sun need to improve on what they have shown so far to trouble the judge. Amanda Perrett's Blue Dynasty ran well at Great Leighs last time and should improve for the longer trip today but preference is for Excelsior Academy.
