ANOSTI found the well handicapped Prescription far too strong last time but Kevin Ryan's filly remains well weighted on the best of her form and can bag the second victory of her career. Front-running tactics look to have brought about that improved level of recent form. Tubby Isaacs is lightly raced and improving quickly judged by his two victories achieved on the all-weather. He still races with a degree of greenness about him and could well still be well ahead of the handicapper at this early stage of his career. Peter Island showed real battling qualities to win at Goodwood on Wednesday but may be vulnerable to some better handicapped rivals while Haajes landed a gamble for connections last time and a capable apprentice is on board to assist in counteracting his mandatory penalty. The well-bred War And Peace, daughter of the speedster Pipalong should be capable of picking up a handicap while Memphis Man continues to post creditable efforts but more often than not finds a couple too good. Anosti is given the vote to land the opener.
