MARCHING TIME is fancied to make his return a winning one in a competitive race where Bin End, Raaeid and Topolski must figure prominently. Call It On could figure if seeing out the trip which will be no problem for Puzzlemaster who was quite well backed when making a winning debut for this yard whilst Equipe De Nuit showed a decent level of form last year and is worth monitoring for signs of confidence as is Warrior One who is one of several potential improvers for the step up in trip. Raaeid looks sure to benefit from the move to middle distances and won his maiden cosily enough to think that he could be on a fair mark. Bin End was noted making good late headway at Nottingham over a mile and stepped up on that form over ten furlongs on his seasonal return although the three that followed him home have done little for the form. Topolski is 17lbs higher than when first successful which could be enough to anchor him in a better race although he's clearly improving at a rate of knots. Marching Time failed to justify his cramped starting price on debut but ran on well to make amends at Yarmouth before failing to land a blow in the Racing Post Trophy. He may have run too free on that occasion or just simply been over the top but his Group 2 entry suggests that there were valid excuses for the run and that Marching Time could make light of his initial mark.
