Sir Michael Stoute has a good record in this race but Enticement may have to play second fiddle to HIGH HEELED whilst the claims of Sariska, Pachattack and Star Ruby cannot be ignored. Pachattack has more to prove than most having failed to get competitive in the Pretty Polly but she had been the subject of good home reports so can't be dismissed. Sariska was a shade unfortunate not to finish closer in the Fred Darling over seven where she stayed on strongly in the closing stages. She should appreciate the step up to middle distances and was rated the best filly in the yard last season. Star Ruby received plaudits following her maiden success at Sandown and nothing should be taken away from her despite a couple of those behind letting the form down on their next starts but this is a big step up. Enticement will stay well and has always been thought capable of justifying her price tag. Her trainer has won this race with the likes of Islington and the Oaks is firmly on the agenda for this filly which is no surprise given that she had Midday and Tottie behind when winning a Listed race on her second start. There may be a chink in her armour on her reappearance though and, if there is, High Heeled could be the one to exploit it. There appeared to be no fluke about her surprise victory in a conditions race at Newbury on her return and the form has been upheld by the fourth and fifth in Listed company whilst the third was only beaten a head and a neck in the Lingfield Derby trial. There's little to choose between the principals on the book but High Heeled may be the one to come out on top.
