      Verdict

      Paradise Dream could be a warm order but VENTURA COVE is taken to lower his colours in a race where few can be dismissed. Paradise Dream lost out to a more experienced rival at Kempton on debut but showed plenty of ability as befits a colt with a raft of top race entries which includes one for the Phoenix Stakes. Ventura Cove also found things happening a little too quickly on debut but he finished powerfully to take second at Musselburgh and looks sure to benefit from the experience. King Of Axum is saddled with a penalty but has proven battling qualities despite running green which suggests that there's plenty more to come from him. The form of Starburst Excel's maiden run is a little mixed but the race has thrown up its share of winners and it has to go down as an encouraging debut. She's bred to be speedy and is not without claims but Fratellino is already beginning to look a little exposed. Elusive Sue will need to be useful to take this on debut and we prefer the claims of her stablemate Ventura Cove.
