Sparkling Montjeu won her novice hurdle at Wincanton last month well enough but she struggled in a handicap last time and may do so under her penalty today so George Baker's filly looks booked for a place at best in a race taken to go to LINDY LOU, who gets the vote ahead of Je Ne Sais Plus. Tom George's mare has run better in maiden hurdles in her last two starts and has every chance against her own sex today in a race that should not take a great deal of winning. Emma Lavelle's Sweet Seville was no better than moderate on the flat but made a pleasing debut over hurdles at Hereford last month and she could be of some interest. Jimmy Frost's Vic's World showed improved form in a handicap last time but needs to improve further on that to trouble an in-form Lindy Lou. Alan Fleming's mare was capable on the level and has run to a decent level of form in two starts over hurdles, a reproduction of which should suffice in this company.
