TERMINATE has course and distance winning form on fast ground and can add to that here, while Piper's Song and Classical Rhythm also have claims. The selection clearly enjoys it here, having won this last year from a mark 4lbs higher than today's 54. He has been kept busy and run with some credit since the turn of the year, including here last time out. He has plenty of time to overcome a wide draw and we will side with him. Piper's Song was comfortably beaten at Newcastle last time, but only found one too good, and he has won on fast ground at Beverley last season. Like many of these he is not one to trust with the mortgage money, with a strike rate a little worse than one in ten, but in a weak race he is not ruled out. Classical Rhythm has one win from 19 starts and has been dropped 2lbs since running well enough here last time. He is arguably unexposed over this trip after just one try and can go well. Corrib has scored here in the past over the minimum trip and she does stay this far, although she does look happier on slower ground. Double Spectre should be no back number, although might just have a bit too much weight and preference is for Terminate.
