    Verdict

There are some interesting newcomers lining up for this maiden including Mark Johnston's Dansili colt Memorabilia and Peters Spirit, from the in-form Richard Fahey stable, but they will have to be useful to get the better of another Fahey runner, SIR REGINALD. The son of Compton Place made a pleasing debut when chasing home Elzaam on fast ground over course and distance last month and he should improve for the softer surface today so looks worth backing to go one better. Paul Cole's Frankish Dynasty ran well enough first time out at Goodwood but needs to improve to trouble the selection, while another Fahey runner, Nicola's Dream, was well held when third of six in a maiden here last month and looks booked for a place at best. Andrew Balding's Rojo Boy has the benefit of experience after three starts and has improved with each outing but this looks tougher than those previous races and preference is for Sir Reginald.
