Verdict

Revered is sure to be popular and may well win but she may well be a little short in the market so preference is for BEACHFIRE with the unbeaten Nazreef likely to pose a threat. Revered is related to the smart pair Promising Lead and Visit and will surely improve with age and prove better than this initial mark of 85 but that's unlikely to escape the layers and will surely be reflected in her odds and first time out may be the time to take her on. Extreme Warrior is another to note on his return but New Christmas, Dubai Set and Commissionaire have something to prove now tried in headgear as connections bid to tap their undoubted potential. Jutland shouldn't be ignored just yet despite being well held in similar races here the last twice although Nazreef and Beachfire are of greater appeal. Nazreef has been raised by 7lbs ahead of his turf debut but that seems reasonable with the third home, Dolphin Rock, winning a competitive Haydock handicap on Wednesday. However, marginal preferences is for William Buick's mount who showed a decent turn of foot when his jockey set him alight at Lingfield before running an eyecatching race at Goodwood; that run will have taught him plenty and Beachfire can maintain his progression.
