Mick Easterby's Hoof It has seemingly been winning for fun of late having won his last three starts but a 13lb rise for the latest of those successes at Haydock looks severe and he may have to settle for minor honours behind MIDNIGHT MARTINI, who gets the verdict ahead of Madam Macie. James Hetherton's filly is relatively unexposed after just three outings, although a 10lb rise for her recent comfortable success at Haydock makes this more difficult. Swilly Ferry got the better of 16 rivals when landing a Newmarket handicap two weeks ago but an 8lb rise for that may prevent him from giving weight away all round here, while Henry Cecil's Tomintoul Singer has been found wanting in better class races but she faces no easy task in this big field in what is an ultra competitive handicap. Ed McMahon's Astrophysical Jet looks to be going the right way but faces no easy task first time in a handicap having been running in group and listed races since her debut success in a Nottingham maiden. Andrew Balding's Side Glance has a bit to find with Swilly Ferry on running last time, while The Only Boss looks a shade high in the weights at present. The vote then goes the way of Tim Easterby's Midnight Martini, who would not be winning out of turn having found one too good in each of her two starts this season and she can go one better today.
