YOUM AL MIZAYIN is fancied to improve past Lady Berta and Dubai Media. Mick Channon's daughter of Cape Cross missed the break on her debut at Newcastle but shaped with a degree of promise. The race was won by the 50-rated Dolly Royal so the form looks like a dog's dinner however she is bred to improve with time and racing and although ten furlongs will suit in time she might be good enough to take this. A big danger could be Lady Berta who has not been particularly well-fancied on two Salisbury runs to date. She comes a fair way north for this assignment and is expected to be wiser and straighter this afternoon. Dubai Media has an official rating of 85 and is a huge player on her handicap form this year. It's frustrating that she wasn't able to win any of her maidens but this drop back in grade should see her feature in some capacity on ground that suits. Christmas Light was backed ahead of her UK debut at Beverley and wasn't disgraced in fourth, whilst Amity looks no superstar at this point in her career. However she is out of a half-sister to Halicarnassus and may need a longer trip before she can prosper. An open maiden then but a chance is taken on Youm Al Mizayin.
