In an interesting Fillies' and Mares' Listed race, the vote goes to Wake Up Maggie, with her biggest dangers given as Cantabria and Silver Touch. Cantabria was a big disappointment at Salisbury last time but, if whatever was bugging her that day is now a thing of the past, she holds solid form overall and can go well today. However, Wake Up Maggie, who was a very useful juvenile, has posted good efforts in some of the top fillies' races this season and, officially being rated the best of these runners, looks to hold a good chance of claiming this Listed event. Turning to the others and Mamela has proven that she can compete at Listed level, so is respected, while Sweet Treat finished ahead of Cantabria at Salisbury last time and, given her overall profile, has to be seriously considered. The lightly-raced Bosset tries this company for the first time but certainly has a chance of gaining some black type, while Silver Touch has always been well regarded by her trainer and she certainly seemed to be getting her act together when just beaten at Sandown last time, so her chance is very much respected too. A return to the Group 3-level of form she showed in May at Lingfield would bring Strut into things but, overall, the vote stays with Wake Up Maggie.
