Elkhorn has shown much improved form of late, winning his last four starts (all at Redcar) and he is taken to defy his 6lb penalty for his most recent success getting the vote ahead of Chinalea and Wanchai Lad. The last mentioned was good value for his win at Nottingham last time but has more to do under a 6lb penalty so he may be best watched today. Harrison's Flyer is another that has to shoulder a penalty for a win last time and this looks a lot tougher than the race that he won at Brighton, while Kings College Boy is proving to be hard to win with. Our Fugitive has been thereabouts of late and may be booked for a place at best again, while Blue Maeve now looks to be in the grip of the handicapper. Chinalea has every chance of reversing Brighton form with Harrison's Flyer on these revised terms but Elkhorn is in fine form at present and is hard to oppose.
