It is difficult to choose between Mark Johnston's two runners Palo Verde and Deadline who are both owned by Sheikh Mohammed but both would probably prefer a faster surface and preference is for Osteopathic Remedy. The selection is the least exposed of these having sprung a big surprise when defying odds of 40/1 when making a winning debut at Ayr last month. That form has a solid look to it and the Michael Dods-trained gelding is taken to make a winning start to his nursery career off what looks a fair mark. Al Khaleej should handle the ground but may already want further, while Algol now looks to be a shade high in the weights. Kyshanty has claims on the pick of his form and should handle the cut in the ground so cannot be ruled out, while Opal Noir may struggle to give weight away all round. It is impossible to know how well treated Osteopathic Remedy actually is but he looks on a fair mark, will handle any cut in the ground that remains and makes plenty of appeal at the forecast odds.
