        Verdict

        Mark Johnston's pair Eau Good and Love Dubai have both shown solid form and have to be respected but Kafuu takes the eye on pedigree and he gets the vote first time out. The selection is a son of Danehill Dancer out of a useful miler in France trained by Jeremy Noseda and could be good enough to beat these first time out. Howard Johnson's Linamix colt Eltanin will not mind the cut in the ground but may do better over further next term and of more interest may be Eau Good. The Clement Freud-owned colt ran with promise on his debut under heavy ground before finishing a close third behind Osteopathic Remedy (runs in 2.50pm race) at Ayr last time and has to be respected. Stablemate Love Dubai has claims on the pick of his form but is becoming expensive to follow. Run Free may be the pick of the remainder but a chance is taken on the ability of Kafuu who may be good enough to make a winning debut.
