A tight contest which may be best left to BONNIE BRAE despite a draconian reaction from the handicapper to her course and distance success last month. Seb Sanders has ridden Whiskey Junction in the past but stays loyal to George Margarson's charge who ran out a 4 length winner from an in-form rival over course and distance last month and now finds herself 12lbs higher as a result. The race has thrown up a couple of winners which is encouraging and she may be able to defy her hefty rise in the weights. Whiskey Junction's last win came in claiming company but he is back down to a handy mark and the booking of Kieren Fallon takes the eye for a yard that does relatively well here whilst Yarmouth standing dish Rough Rock has the assistance of an up and coming talent in the plate. Ask Jenny is consistent but an infrequent winner whilst Eye For The Girls has regularly been held from similar marks since winning on this card last year so preference is for Bonnie Brae.
